  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 12 chicken tenders (about 1.5 lbs)
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and lightly spray basket with olive oil.
  2. In one bowl, beat eggs with salt and pepper; in another, mix almond flour with garlic powder, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture then coat with the almond flour mixture.
  4. Place coated tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and lightly spray again with olive oil.
  5. Cook for 7 minutes; flip tenders, spray the other side with olive oil, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until fully cooked.
