- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb/450g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and honey (if using) to create the marinade.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper then coat thoroughly with the marinade.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken cooks, season halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper; add them to the basket after flipping the chicken.
- Cook Brussels sprouts for an additional 8-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing; serve alongside Brussels sprouts.
