Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb/450g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and honey (if using) to create the marinade.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper then coat thoroughly with the marinade.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. While the chicken cooks, season halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper; add them to the basket after flipping the chicken.
  6. Cook Brussels sprouts for an additional 8-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  7. Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing; serve alongside Brussels sprouts.
