  • ⅓ cup non-dairy milk
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together hot melted vegan butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add non-dairy milk and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Pour dry mixture into wet mixture and stir until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are set but the center remains soft.
  6. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes before lifting out of the pan to cool completely on a wire rack.
