  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 200g mushrooms (finely chopped)
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in a skillet until translucent, then add mushrooms until softened. Stir in spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then mix in grated cheese and cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into 24 squares.
  5. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square and fold to seal.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg for shine.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
