  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 12 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and salt until well mixed.
  2. Roll the mixture into one-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for about 20 minutes or until browned.
  4. While baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinara sauce and let it simmer.
  5. Combine cooked meatballs with the marinara sauce.
