  • 2 Tbsp Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 15 oz can Tomato Sauce
  • 8.5 oz Barilla Ready Pasta Rotini
  • Crushed Red Pepper (to taste)
  • Granular Sugar Substitute (like stevia or Swerve)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: Combine garlic pepper, parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper in a resealable bag. Add chicken pieces, shake to coat, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat with cooking spray. Add marinated chicken, cook for about 6–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix tomato sauce with garlic pepper and sugar substitute.
  4. Combine: Microwave the pasta per package instructions. Add pasta and sauce to the skillet with chicken; stir well and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat and top with optional shredded mozzarella before serving.
