  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 3/4 cup oil (neutral such as avocado)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk (dairy or non-dairy, room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons gluten free all-purpose baking flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips in intervals of 30–45 seconds, stirring until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and oil. Stir in the melted chocolate until well combined.
  4. Add gluten free flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder to the wet mixture. Stir until smooth and fold in the remaining chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a lined 8×8 baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for about 30–38 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
