  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1/2 of a lime (juiced)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, sriracha, and soy sauce. Once cooked through, set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, heat avocado oil and sauté the shredded Brussels sprouts until soft and caramelized.
  3. Combine the cooked ground beef with Brussels sprouts in the skillet. Add sweet chili sauce and lime juice; stir to coat evenly.
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve hot over rice or your choice of base.
