- 1 cup blanched almond flour
- 1/2 cup hemp protein powder
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup yogurt (unsweetened coconut yogurt)
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, hemp protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until blended.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add maple syrup, yogurt, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently with a rubber spatula until just combined.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips and almond butter.
- Grease a non-stick donut pan with coconut oil and spoon batter into molds about three-quarters full.
- Bake for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
