  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Broth
  • 1 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp COLD Butter
  • 3 Egg Whites
  • Salt and spices (garlic powder, chili powder)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until browned. Set aside.
  2. In the same saucepan, add cream cheese and heavy cream; whisk continuously for about 5 minutes until combined.
  3. Return sausage to the pan and whisk for another 2-3 minutes until thickened. Adjust consistency with broth if needed.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a muffin pan.
  5. Combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and chili powder in a bowl.
  6. Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until crumbly.
  7. Whisk egg whites until fluffy and fold gently into the mixture.
