  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • ¼ cup onion (chopped)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
  • ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum (optional)
  • 15 ounces baby corn (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add the beef strips and minced garlic, cooking until browned; season with salt and pepper before removing from the skillet.
  3. If needed, add more oil to the skillet, then sauté green bell pepper and onion until tender.
  4. Pour in beef broth and soy sauce, adding sliced mushrooms along with optional xanthan gum and baby corn if desired; stir well.
