- 16 ounces 85/15 ground beef
- 16 ounces ground Italian sausage
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 14 ounces pizza sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/4 cup Italian cheese blend
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a frying pan, heat a little oil over high heat. Form meatballs from the mixture of beef, sausage, eggs, spices, and Parmesan. Sear until browned on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and sauté tomato paste in the same pan for about 10 seconds. Add pizza sauce and Italian cheese blend; mix well.
