- ½ Head Cabbage (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 8 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp Ginger (minced)
- ½ Cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium)
- ¼ Cup Hoisin Sauce
- 3 Tsp Cornstarch
- ⅓ Cup Green Onions (diced)
Instructions
- Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart for about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Push the beef to one side and sauté garlic and ginger in the center for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped cabbage and red pepper flakes; continue cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch mixed with beef broth.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and cabbage mixture; stir well and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in green onions before serving.
