- 2 oz melted coconut oil
- 16 oz all-purpose flour
- 2 oz sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp quick-rise yeast
- Olive oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Mix aquafaba and ground flaxseed; let sit for 10 minutes.
- Combine coconut milk and melted coconut oil in a bowl; add the aquafaba mixture.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast; create a well in the center.
- Pour the wet mixture into the well; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick; cut out shapes using a doughnut cutter.
