- 1 pkg Italian sausages (uncooked)
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (red & green)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt (or salt + garlic powder)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2–3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese (not pre-shredded)
Instructions
- Sear the sausages in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Place the browned sausages in the slow cooker, followed by sliced onions and peppers.
- Sprinkle garlic salt and Italian seasoning over the veggies.
- Pour marinara sauce evenly on top.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours until everything is tender.
