- 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot (julienned)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain. Rinse and peel shrimp if necessary. Chop all vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
- Marinate the steak in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, adding vegetable oil.
- Stir-fry the marinated steak for 3-4 minutes until browned but slightly undercooked, then set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, cooking briefly before adding bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes.
- Add shrimp to the vegetables, cooking until pink, around 3-4 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked steak with shrimp and veggies, stirring well to combine; season with salt and pepper.
